Welcome
The Savannah Prototype Modeler's Meet is an annual event to showcase prototype models and for modelers to meet and socialize. Held in Port Wentworth, just outside of Savannah, the Meet attracts modelers from around the Southeast and beyond. All are welcome to attend, whether you have models to display or simply wish to learn.
The 2013 Meet will be held on April 4-6, 2013 at the Port Wentworth, Georgia Community Center. Thursday afternoon will be setup, with dinner and a slideshow later. The Meet begins Friday at 9am, with clinics and models all day, finishing with slideshows after dinner. Saturday opens at 9am with a door prize drawing after lunch. The Meet concludes at 5pm with dinner and more slides to follow.
We will feature the usual format for RPM meets. There will be clinics, model displays, and brotherhood. We will have a limited number of vendors in attendance as well as several Historical Societies. Due to the emphasis of these meets being on models, please be sure to bring lots of them. We have plenty of room so that is NOT an issue. The more models the merrier!
